Where the Big Boats Are

Have been house sitting at Shannon and Nick's in Yeronga and I came across a book Nicko's reading about great speeches. Flicking through this I found one from Jesse Jackson. This particular quote, brimming with stirring rhetoric, is worth citing in the face of a deluge of essentially airy-fairy speeches about hope by the Illinois Politician:

As for Jesse Jackson, I'm tired of sailing my little boat, far inside the harbor bar. I want to go out where the big ships float, out on the deep where the great ones are. And should my frail craft prove too slight, the waves that sweep those billows o'er, I'd rather go down in a stirring fight than drown to death in the sheltered shore. We've got to go out, my friends, where the big boats are.
